ABOUT US

Marie B MVOGO MESSOBO, PA-C, MMS, MAPS

I am a Physician Assistant, licensed and practicing in Maryland. I am also specialized in Biomedical treatments for autism and ADHD/ADD, Mold literate and Clinical partner with Novelbiome. I graduated from Anne Arundel Physician Assistant program in 2014 and obtained my Master in Medical Sciences from University of Sait Francis, PA. I have been practicing conventional medicine since in many areas including hospital medicine, Cardiology, emergency and oncology. I have been trained as a MAPS provider (Medical Academy for Pediatric Special Needs) and transitioned to biomedical treatments for autism after my son was diagnosed with autism and I was not able to help him with conventional approaches.

I have learned through my training and through my son’s healing journey that regressive autism is most of the time the result of overwhelming brain inflammation. Most children with autism suffer from chronic gut inflammation which correlate to imbalance of neurotransmitter in the brain; immune dysregulation making them more susceptible to chronic infections; methylation issues causing toxic overload; mitochondrial dysfunction hindering optimal body function. I strive to provide biomedical treatments using evidence-based biomedical testing, and add treatments either based on underlying biomedical testing or evidence-based treatments ( for example, giving nutritional supplements that have been studied and proven to help symptoms of autism such as hyperactivity, awareness, speech delay etc.)
